    The Festival is held under the patronage of

The FIFTH International Festival for Orthodox Music “Theotokos - It Is Truly Meet” is organized as a response to the  growing  interest  in  Orthodox music, in its preservation  and  dissemination, in  the  creation  and  performance of modern Orthodox chants worldwide.

The organizers will have the pleasure for the FIFTH time to welcome choirs from Bulgaria and abroad in the picturesque Black Sea resort Pomorie from the 7th to 11th June 2008.

The  participants  will  have the opportunity  to  visit some of the  most  famous historical  and  cultural sights along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast in the region of Bourgas, Pomorie and Nessebar.

Chairman of the Festival Committee is associate professor Dimitar Dimitrov – head of department in the Theological Faculty of Sofia University “St. Climent Ochridski”, and conductor of the choir at the Cathedral “Alexander Nevski”, and also conductor of the choir “St. Joan Kukuzel”.
